The 2015 GP2 season gets underway today, Monday the 9th of March, with all the GP2 teams attending the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi for three days of testing. For Racing Engineering it will be a chance for their new drivers Jordan King and Alexander Rossi to have their first run in the Spanish team’s 2015 specification Dallara which this year will now use the F1-type Drag Reduction System (DRS).

For Jordan King it will be his first experience with Racing Engineering and a valuable opportunity to add more miles in a GP2 car as his only experience to date has been at the 2014 post-season testing, also at Yas Marina, where he proved to be very competitive.

Alexander Rossi is of course already experienced in GP2 having already competed in over 30 races in the Series but it will be important for him to start working with and building up a rapport with the team.

For Racing Engineering, one of the most consistently successful teams in GP2 history, these three days will be an important first step on the road to taking many more race wins and challenging for the 2015 Driver and Team Championships.
