Racing Engineering is pleased to announce that, for another season, DHL has put its trust in the Spanish team that will be competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. The global market leader in the logistics industry supports the team from Sanlucar de Barrameda during its 2017 campaign in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, the stepping stone to Formula 1.

DHL, the world famous, international express network company has always been connected to motorsports and it shares with Racing Engineering not just its corporate colours, but also a passion for speed, efficiency and high quality. The world of modern motorsport requires a great deal of complex planning to ensure that the team and all its equipment is transported quickly and safely from Spain to destinations in Europe and the Middle East during the eleven race weekends of the season.

Founded in 1969, DHL is the world's largest logistics company operating all over the world, particularly by sea and air mail. The company has a present in over 220 countries and territories, has approximately 500,000 employees across the globe and manages more than 1 million customer contacts per hour.

Racing Engineering has been honoured to carry the DHL logos on its cars for the last two seasons when the Spanish squad finished both years at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi as second in the team championship and it is looking forward to prolonging the successful collaboration with DHL. In 2017 Racing Engineering is competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with Swedish driver Gustav Malja and the Swiss Louis Delétraz, both of whom will carry the DHL logos on their cars from the first round of the championship which starts at the Sakhir Circuit, Bahrain on the 14th of April.

Alfonso de Orléans-Borbón, President of Racing Engineering:
I am pleased to announce that once again DHL are continuing their collaboration with Racing Engineering. Not only are they a great company to work with, they are also true professionals who understand the needs of the client, and that makes all the difference to us.
Motorsport takes you all over the world, with complicated logistics and exacting timetables. You really need a good partner to help you transport the large amount of material that a professional racing team requires especially the delicate instruments that we need to get the job done. In all our years working with DHL, everything has arrived at its destination without the slightest hitch and it’s great to be working with them again.

Malcolm Macbeth, Vice President of DHL Aviation Middle East and Africa:
We are delighted to be supporting Racing Engineering for a third successive year of competition in Bahrain, the home of DHL Express Middle East. There are many shared attributes and values in running a successful racing team and an express business such as speed, teamwork, innovation, reliability – the list goes on. However there is one shared value that I would like to focus on – the development of talent. At DHL Aviation in Bahrain we take particular pride in developing our people, allowing them to demonstrate their capabilities and move onwards and upwards to greater challenges within DHL, the world’s most international company. Likewise Racing Engineering have a great track record of developing talent and we wish Gustav and Louis all the best for the season ahead.
