Already the 2019 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series has reached the halfway point in the season with three weekends completed and three to go after this weekend. Although Racing Engineering won the two opening Elite 1 races at Valencia the Spanish team have not been satisfied with their results at Franciacorta and Brands Hatch and they have spent the last four weeks working hard to return to the top step of the podium. The team’s four drivers, Ander Vilariño and Romain Iannetta in Elite 1 with Myatt Snider and Eric Clement in Elite 2, will be battling hard in their two races to gain as many points as possible.
The 4.222 km (2.623 mi) Autodrom Most is located in the north-west of the Czech Republic and opened in 1983 and, over the years, it has hosted everything from ELMS to the Czech Truck Grand Prix. The track is relatively narrow and comprises just one long straight and twenty-one corners so the cars will need to have a good set-up to deal with the almost constant change of direction and to give the drivers confidence under braking.
